Jordin Ramirez was born and raised in Las Vegas — a place that teaches you early that pressure is just part of the deal.
He's been an athlete since age three. Baseball, Tae Kwon Do, Muay Thai, Boxing, Jiu-Jitsu, and wrestling came next — from 2003 to 2007 he competed with USA's Junior Olympic Tae Kwon Do team, earning his 1st Degree Black Belt in 2008. Wrestling followed at Arbor View High School, where the lessons got simpler: get tougher, or get folded.
In 2014, Jordin stepped into his first fitness competition. He went on to become a professional natural bodybuilder and an elite-level powerlifter, then spent 12+ years coaching — guiding more than 1,000 people through real transformations, including five years owning and operating perFIcT Gym in Las Vegas. Today he leads two brands: Protocol Athlete and BODIED.
Jordin Ramirez was born and raised in Las Vegas, which probably explains a few things — the tolerance for chaos, the appetite for pressure, and the strange ability to keep showing up when most people would rather disappear.
He's been an athlete since he was 3 years old, back when most kids were still figuring out how not to fall over. Baseball came first, played year-round from 2001 to 2010, alongside martial arts — Tae Kwon Do, Muay Thai, Boxing, Jiu-Jitsu, Wrestling — the kind of disciplines that teach a kid early that pain is mostly just information. He fought competitively in Tae Kwon Do around the world, competed with USA's Junior Olympic Tae Kwon Do team from 2003 to 2007, and earned his 1st Degree Black Belt in 2008. Then came high school wrestling at Arbor View, year-round from 2010 to 2014, across five weight classes, where the lessons got simpler: you either get tougher, or you get folded.
In 2014, Jordin trained for and competed in his first bodybuilding competition, and that same year became a certified personal trainer and nutrition specialist. What started as another test turned into a career built around physique, performance, and the uncomfortable truth that most people don't need motivation — they need a standard. In 2017, he won Mr. California to earn his pro card in the Classic Physique division — then, at that same show, won Jr. Mr. America in bodybuilding and placed 5th in the Classic Physique pro division for his first pro show. His final bodybuilding competition came in 2019: 5th place, Classic Physique pro division, at Mr. Universe.
Then came powerlifting — his first and only meet, in Las Vegas in 2020. Competing in the 75kg weight class, Jordin posted a 230kg squat, 160kg bench press, and 250kg deadlift for a 640kg total: an elite-level score in the top 99th percentile of all lifters. Heavy weight has a way of telling you exactly who you are.
For 12 years, Jordin has worked as a personal trainer and coach, helping more than 1,000 people rebuild their bodies, their habits, and, in some cases, their entire relationship with themselves. From 2020 to 2025, he owned and operated perFIcT Gym in Las Vegas — five years of coaching real people in the real world, where excuses die under fluorescent lights and iron doesn't care how your day went.
Now, he runs two brands. Protocol Athlete is 1-on-1 online coaching for men who used to be athletic and are done accepting "used to be" as a personality trait. It's built for former athletes and experienced lifters who've tried programs, stalled out, and know deep down they're not finished — they're just missing the system.
BODIED is the other side of the empire — a women's training, apparel, and lifestyle brand built around four programs: SHRED, BUILD, CURVE, and PEACH. Training, supplements, athleisure, and a clean identity wrapped in monochrome and restraint.
Jordin's work sits somewhere between discipline and rebellion. Between the athlete you were, the body you want, and the version of yourself you keep pretending you're too busy to become.
The Record
Tae Kwon Do, Muay Thai, Boxing, Jiu-Jitsu, Wrestling — and Tae Kwon Do competition that took him around the world.
The rank most people quit chasing.
Every weight class from 103 to 132 lbs — cutting and gaining on command, year after year.
Started coaching people before he was done competing himself.
The company behind what would become perFIcT.
Classic Physique division — amateur to professional in one show.
Same show, same day: 5th place in the Classic Physique pro division — his first time competing as a pro.
5th place, Classic Physique pro division, at Mr. Universe — his last time on a bodybuilding stage.
Las Vegas. 230kg squat, 160kg bench, 250kg deadlift — a 640kg total in the 75kg class, an elite-level score in the top 1% of lifters worldwide.
A private training facility for men and women, built the same way he coaches: personally.
Demand outpaced capacity. Three more trainers came on to open up the schedule.
